Partners

Since 1978, Parents' Choice has been a trusted source of recommendations for the best in children's media: toys, books, music, television and more.  For almost thirty years, we've been helping parents make informed decisions about which children's media and toys are right for their families. As Parents' Choice continues to help parents navigate the landscape of children's media, our newest partnerships deliver Parents' Choice recommendations via the latest technology.

Get Game Smart

The Get Game Smart Campaign is a new approach to helping parents and their children get on the same page about making smart media choices. Using new methods and messengers, the Campaign inspires families to take simple, but important steps that can help ensure that their kids' media experiences are safer, healthy and balanced.

The Get Game Smart Family Challenge offers incentives for parents and kids to work together on fun activities that will improve their knowledge about gaming and online safety, and help them create household agreements for media use along with easy ways to enforce them.

Education.com

Education.com provides parents of school-aged children with free access to information and resources to give them the answers they need - plus activities and articles that make learning together more fun for everyone.
There's no doubt about it - raising kids in the "wired world" where bullying, learning disability diagnosis, childhood obesity and divorce rates are at all time highs isn't easy.

Most parents intuitively know what multiple studies have proven: family involvement improves kids' success at school. Parents want to do the best they can for their kids but often don't have the right information to help them navigate today's complicated world. With the vast Internet at their fingertips, not having enough information is rarely a problem for parents. The bigger issue is knowing how to find the best information fast. Education.com is a one-stop source of information for all parents' educational, developmental, and parenting questions.

ASHA's vision is making effective communication, a human right, accessible and achievable for all. Its mission is empowering and supporting speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists by:

  • Advocating on behalf of persons with communication and related disorders

Smart Television Alliance

The Smart Television Alliance is a new coalition of national nonprofit organizations united by a shared commitment to improving what our nation's children see on television.

Television is one of the most powerful mediums in the world. It can educate, inspire, and entertain us. At the same time, the alarming increase in violence, indecency, and sexual content on TV sends our children a very different message -- one that undermines the positive values parents and caregivers are trying to instill in young people today.

USA Weekend

In print, more than 600 newspapers with a circulation of 23.4 million take us to 49.2 million readers every weekend. Online, USA Weekend brings its readers weekly articles, additional interviews, contests and other features. Through their Make A Difference Day area, USA Weekend gives its readers the tools to change their community for the better.

These collaborations clearly underscore the value and the impact of Parents' Choice recommendations. We couldn't be more pleased.
