Review:
In this learn-by-doing game, players take a seat in the cockpit of the "Ultimate Robotic Vehicle" and role-play alongside Fisher-Price's Rescue Heroes using its extraordinary tools to rescue people or animals in danger or distress. When a submarine sinks to the ocean floor, for instance, Rescue Heroes use the power winch to save it. When an earthquake hits an amusement park, Rescue Heroes must rescue a runaway roller coaster. From repairing a stalled cable car to saving animals in a flood, kids are assigned tasks to complete that require guts and guile. And when they've completed the challenges, they feel good about themselves. Maybe even in heroic terms!

The animation and graphics are Saturday-morning cartoon-like, the instructions are clear and simple, and the missions are straightforward heroics. While the educational value is limited to safety messages, problem-solving heroics and teamwork, the game is fun and gratifying.
