Cranium Hullabaloo
Fall 2003 GamesAfter about eight to a dozen moves in about one or one-and-a-half minutes, the voice calls “Freeze.” Everyone stays where they are, and the caller announces that whoever is touching one specific image is the winner. Then the next round starts. The “sets” are short enough so that probably all the players would have a chance to be a winner, and after each set the players have an opportunity to play longer or stop. This would be a great game for a birthday (or other) party, or for active indoor play in inclement weather. And the kids are learning colors, shapes, categories, and reading the names of objects on the pads. The manufacturer’s age range is 4 and up, but several tests confirmed that play was more successful when at least one of the participants was age 7 or older.
