Review:
An admirable variation on the crossword theme, Wordigo's instructions are simple and straightforward. Play occurs on four separate boards at the same time, allowing each player the ability to strategize in building on his or her own work. In this way, a 5th grader can make maximum use of his or her letters without fear that an adult with a larger vocabulary will step in at the last moment and ruin the plan. Leveling the playing field makes for good family game sessions.

Play is limited to 7 minutes (calculated on a sand timer included in the box). Q's have U's "attached" so the valuable Q tile will not languish for want of a U. A completed board may have as few as 8 or as many as 17 words. There are 4 game boards from which to choose, which varies play significantly. Additionally, the order in which the tiles are drawn is random, so each new game is different from the one that preceded it. In short, Wordigo is constantly new.
