Review:
We bought our first Palm less than a year ago. We now own three. Our fourteen year old uses his at school every day. Local coffee shops are filled with customers who use them to connect to the Internet over lunch. In fact, if I didn't have a house full of kids sleeping over right now, I'd be emailing this report from my Tungsten over a mocha java at the Panera down the street. My Palm and I have become two parts of a whole and I take every opportunity to use it. It can make waiting in a doctor's office, waiting for a table at a restaurant, waiting in line at a theatre, or riding on a bus or train a pleasurable experience. Alone, Trivial Pursuit can provide an amusing and thoughtful break from the mundane. When not alone, the entertainment factor is multiplied significantly - even complete strangers jump in with answers.

The CD includes multiple formats of the program to ensure its usability on a very wide range of palmtop computers. The interface is straightforward. The software is simple to navigate. Database is large enough to maintain attention through repeated use. Entertainment value is high. However, although answers occasionally include additional information, which prompts further thought and discussion, educational component is not its strong suit.

This is, first and foremost, entertainment software.
