Right Turn, Left Turn

Fall 2004 Games
Ages: 6 & Up
Price: $7.95
Review:
The game is played by laying the 7 Officer Cards (cards that feature at police officer either facing forward or backward) face up on the table and arranged in a circle. At the top of each Officer card are symbols (tree, fire hydrant, ambulance, lamp post, etc.). In the center of the circle the deck of Direction cards are placed. Each direction card contains: a symbol to match the symbol on the top of one of the Officer cards, and three sets of directions. (For example; symbol: tree, directions: 3 lefts, 1 right, 4 lefts) Game play begins as one player flips up a Direction card revealing the symbol and directions. Game play starts at the Officer card that features the matching symbol and follow the directions around the circle. If the first direction says 3 lefts, players must first consider which way the officer is facing and therefore, which way is his left. Two more sets of directions follow. The first player to correctly identify the symbol keeps the direction card. Play continues until one of the players has earned six direction cards.
