Review:
Lou Del Bianco nails the highs and lows of grade school with wacky humor and the truth of one who has to have been there. The title is from the album’s comical first-person saga about a kid’s trials trying to find his way around a big new school, interwoven with catchy, witty songs. It’s "A Bad Day Today" when you get teased or have the "Homework Blues," but milk and cookies, dinosaurs, gum, learning to ride a bike, and the last day of school are all part of "That’s What I Like" and "Angie’s Meatballs" are "the best." Del Bianco’s smooth professionalism, melodic harmonies, funny voices, telling lyrics and mellow pop-rock style make for terrific listening.
