Music for Little Mozarts is an early childhood music curriculum based on the standards created by the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). This particular book and CD set provides good background for parents and teachers with musical inclination, but little experience teaching music to young children. The information in the extensive introduction is easy to understand and most importantly - accurate. The lesson plans are clear and very thorough. The authors combine good music and a quality recording with a theme that appeals to children ages 4-6. Children who use this package will have fun and be encouraged to explore music and movement on their own.
