What do you call a family card game in which players don't take turns but instead clamor to create matches? You call it a Ruckus. This easy-to-learn game, suited for two to four players, includes six cards each of twelve kooky designs including the “Pig in the Attic” and “Fish Man”, a creature that is half man, half fish. The object is to collect matching pairs and sets and ultimately to gain the most points.

The ruckus begins as players are dealt seven cards that they arrange in pairs and sets and place on the table in front of them. If another player has a card that matches that set, they place their card on the pile and take it as their own. Thus, possession of a pile can switch many times in a game. A round is completed when a player runs out of cards in their hand and calls “Out!” Points are then tabulated.

All ages will enjoy the simple fun of this game. It has a little strategy and a little chance, and you never know who will win until the last card is played.
