Review:
The age-old travel battle cry, "Are we there yet?" just may have been rendered obsolete. Klutz's Books in a Cup, designed appropriately for children ages 8 and up (and the adults who pass the time in the car with them), include four palm-sized, theme-related activity books, a pencil (that comes already sharpened and with a pencil topper an eraser) and stickers for use with some of the activities.

Our testers evaluated the Bug-themed and Dog-themed Books in a Cup. Each booklet contains, "40 pages of puzzles, dot-to-dots, tricks, trivia, magic, mazes, jokes, doodles and, of course, a little squeeze of Klutz mischief." The games and activities include: "What's Wrong with this Picture?," test your nursery rhyme know-how, step-by-step drawing lessons (Draw a Dachshund, Doodle a Poodle, How to Draw a Bee and Doodle Bug), personality and intelligence quizzes, hangman, and gags like fake parking tickets, front seat passes and goofy postcards to send to the loved ones at home. The clever packaging fits handily in a car's cup holder, serving a variety of activities to be played independently or with one or more of the other riders.
