Review:
Chirp is geared for young children ages 3 to 6, on the brink of learning and just beginning to read. It gives them a healthy and satisfying dose of many activities: cooking, comics, rhymes, outdoor and indoor activities, letter and color recognition, and light fiction. The puzzles and activities are age-appropriate and jokes are simple enough that they can be quickly understood and repeated to family or friends. The magazine states “it is a delightful way to introduce young children to the joy and fun of reading.” Our family agrees!

Older children who are learning to read can easily read to themselves and follow the instructions for the many activities.
