Review:
In traditional Disney style, this film includes celebrity voices—David Spade as the voice of the main character, John Goodman as the voice of his pal—and a soundtrack by a famous musician, in this case, Sting. The story centers around the vain and selfish emperor Kuzco, who doesn't like his “groove” ruined. His advisor, Yzma, gets fed up with him and with the help of her sidekick Kronk, turns him into a llama. As an animal who needs help, Kuzco befriends peasant Pacha and learns the value of friendship and of helping other people. In a world filled with hyperactive materialistic forces at work, Kuzco is a perfect example of the spoiled brat. He's a good mirror for children to look into. Are they like Kuzco? Or are they like the wiser and kinder Pacha?
