Review:
Elements of Science is several years of science instruction packed into one kit. It covers the gamut of topics from water, air, heat, light & sound to force & motion, electricity, magnetism, and chemistry. The comprehensive 114-page manual outlines 100 experiments. Additional items such as magnets, a compass, a magnifying lens, and safety goggles, complete the package.

Children will learn about surface tension by floating a paperclip in a cup of water. They'll see a foam ball suspended in air currents from a hair dryer. These are simple but awe-inspiring experiments for children that are guaranteed to please. They'll learn that ice expands so don't fill containers for the freezer to the very brim. Black is actually a combination of colors revealed by making chromatographic banners. A cup of water can be upside down without spilling a drop, and an eggshell can dissolve in vinegar within twenty-four hours. For a wide-ranging look at science, this kit cannot be beat.
