Wild Chronicles

Wild Chronicles

Spring 2007 Television
Ages: 8 - 16 yrs.
Network: PBS
Review:
Who can resist footage of a bird puffing up its neck or sea turtles cruising blue waters? A PBS series devoted to reporting on issues affecting nature and our world, Wild Chronicles is produced by the education arm of the National Geographic Society. And it's classic National Geographic fare: wow!-inducing film of all sorts of creatures from lumbering elephants to exotic cave creatures such as the colorless blind crab. This isn't snazzy. This isn't face-paced. This is old-school nature television that entertains and informs.
