Review:
Peep peep! The little tank engine keeps rolling on with four episodes from the Thomas and Friends 2005 season. The episodes include "Thomas' New Trucks"-where Thomas' new freight cars get dirty at the coaling plant, "Duncan and the Old Mine," which is a variation on the original Awdry story about Thomas and an abandoned mine; "Thomas and the Milkshake Muddle" wherein Thomas has to get the milk to the ice cream factory, but when he gets into a race with Emily, the shaking churns up butter instead, and "Mighty Mac" about the two-faced engine (Mighty at one end and Mac at the other) and how each end disagrees with the other. Already confirmed Thomas fans, both my sons were completely absorbed in this production, which also includes little matching games and quizzes between episodes. Unfortunately, Michael Brandon's narration seems clumsy compared to Ringo Starr's work on the original British series
