eebee's Adventures
Spring 2008 TelevisionKids are born scientists. They poke and probe, try and fail. It's how they study and understand the world around them. For parents who believe that learning happens only in a scripted and structured environment, this show is for you.
With nary a bell or a whistle, magical muppet-like oh-so-curious eebee lights a path of discovery. Kindly and softly, the puppeteer demonstrates concentration, interest, and experimentation. Never intrusive, always responsive, the puppeteer lets learning unfold. Initiating a simple rhythm, echoing another, the adults serve as gentle guides, genuine participants, and admiring students.
Those who may think it hypocritical that these lovely hands-on lessons are screen based will quickly rid themselves of any misgiving. Here, viewers will learn how grownups and children can learn together. And boy, is that fun.
