Senet : The Ancient Tomb TreasuresSpring 2008 Games
Players place five game pieces on the first row and roll a die to move forward. Even numbered rolls allow a player to roll again. If a player moves a game piece to a space occupied by the other player, they change places. Any player landing three game pieces in a row creates a block that neither player can pass. Players can create blocks or attack other game pieces, while avoiding the trap space. There is a reason that the Senet game has survived for thousands of years; it is simple in layout, easy to learn, fun to play, and it supplies just enough strategic challenge to satisfy most game players.
