Review:
In this American Girl story, Mia St. Clair has dreams of becoming a figure skater. But with three hockey-obsessed older brothers, she knows more about cross-checks than toe-loops. When Mia finally finds the courage to pursue her dream, she learns what it takes to be her best, as well as how to bring out the best in others.

As children played with the doll, they talked about Mia’s life and commiserated about having older brothers. It was fun to listen in on their play and hear them talking about trying new activities that are difficult or challenging.
