Review:
The Weather beginner experiment kit from little labs is an easy-to-read booklet of mini-projects to do at home to explore the natural processes that create weather. Nearly all use commonly available household materials, such as drinking glass, a shallow dish, ice, water, etc. Young observers will learn that condensation and evaporation (not the most thrilling scientific concepts to observe on the small scale) are the same processes that create clouds and rain. Making a mini-rainbow is fun. The pieces in the kit are assembled to form a little weather station, with a device to measure the strength and direction of wind as well as keep track of precipitation and temperature.
