Review:
Designed to teach the basics of electrical circuitry to children in grades 4-6, this KitBookTM contains a 62-page, spiral bound book, a tray of parts, and a unique "PowerPageTM" with integrated wires and snaps to easily attach components. Technically thorough and well written, each of the eight chapters has an introduction that identifies the topics to be covered and provides clearly defined goals, and logical step-by-step procedures to follow for each activity.

This KitBookTM contains absolutely everything needed for each activity (even straw pieces, popsicle sticks, paper clips, and a penny) and is packed full of well-presented technical information. The PowerPageTM with snap on components (buzzer, motor, and switches) makes building circuits very visual and very easy. Follow up questions assess understanding of concepts and "challenge" questions and activities reinforce concepts and encourage further study and application. Chapters also contain "Do You Know?" features that apply learned topics to real life.
