Fall 2008 WebsiteContent ranges widely: "Dealing with Feelings" features articles about cheating, cliques, bullies, test anxiety, family tensions, and even how to deal with the death of a pet; "Staying Healthy" offers advice on pre-teen issues like acne and bad breath; "Recipes" doles up kid-friendly foods, including options for kids with specific allergies and illnesses; "Growing Up" tackles puberty-related topics; and "Kids Talk" answers kids’ questions, including a whole section of When Can I questions--as in, when can I baby-sit, shave, etc. "The Game Closet" is loaded with games, quizzes, activities and even experiments while Safety and First Aid Tips and a Glossary of medical terms round out the site’s content.
One of the most dynamic areas of the site is "How the Body Works," which offers a high-level overview movie with the opportunity to click for more information. The site offers many opportunities for additional levels of information, including right hand navigation tabs that offer the option of "More Articles Like This" and "Resources" specific to the topic the user is browsing. The entire site is also available for viewing in Spanish.
