The site focuses on increasing pre-reading and reading skills for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Videos of authors reading their work, with the pages clearly displayed at key points, games that focus on words and word sounds, and numerous opportunities for parents and children to work together on reading activities are woven into each of the three main sections of the site (Babies and Toddlers, Preschoolers and Grown-Ups). There are a number of games and activities available in each section: six major preschool sections with multiple activities in each, including video sing-alongs, games and "did you know" fact-sets; five sections for babies and toddlers, including lullabies and video finger plays; plus articles, videos and activities for parents as well as a link to sign-up for a parent newsletter.

The video and animated storybooks will keep visitors returning. Sometimes narrated by the authors, and sometimes created as an interactive book, these are well produced and easy to use with a young child.
