Review:
Cobblestone is an engaging American history lesson for kids ages nine and up. Designed to meet curriculum standards, and reviewed by an expert historian, each issue thoroughly explores one specific theme such as "Women Want To Vote," "Office of the President," or "Abraham Lincoln." Using well-researched features, interviews, timelines, speeches, and maps, the magazine manages to bring each topic to life. Activities, crossword puzzles, cartoons, contests, and brainteasers keep the voice entertaining, without loosing the educational bent.
