The Swinxs electronic game console has reinvigorated neighborhood playdates and birthday parties with a 21st century twist. Each player puts on a colored wrist band (four are included in this package but more are available for purchase) and "checks in" with the console. Then, the "announcer" gives the players choice of games to play. The console includes 10 games such as hide-and-seek, dash, and tag. Once a game is selected, the Swinxs console voice (one group of testers named him Sam, another Mr. Swinxs) tells them what to do from there in a clear, audible well modulated voice. Although the price tag is a little steep, additional Swinxs games can be downloaded for free.
