Review:
This 30-minute DVD isn't snazzy or filled with statistics about Guatemala. It's simply a look at how two different children--a girl named Mariaelena, 7, and a boy named Jorge, 9,--live in Guatemala. We see them get up, go to school, work on the farm, cope with rainy afternoons and more. They don't sit around and play video games. They don't text their pals on cell phones. Although it's not terribly exciting, it will give children an insight into a day in the life of two families who are most likely very un-like their own and that's always a good thing.
