Wild Animal Baby, published by the National Wildlife Federation, introduces children ages 1- 4 to nature and wildlife. The magazine's size and construction are appealing, particularly its thicker pages that are not easily torn by little hands. For such a compact magazine it is filled with stories and activities including finger plays, matching, counting, and an introduction to a letter of the alphabet.
