Review:Muse is a children's magazine that will appeal to intelligent, curious, and informed readers. With the tagline, "The Magazine Of Life, The Universe And Pie Throwing," it's a publication for those who appreciate a sense of humor. Articles include word play, puns, humorous illustrations, jokes, satire, and running cartoons. As an example, the issue titled "Are You Talkin' to ME?" (vol. 13, no. 9) features several articles about verbal communication, covering various kinds of code, importance of pronouns, a story printed entirely in code, and of course a charmingly clever illustration of Alex, the recently famous talking parrot who used a vast vocabulary, graces the cover.
