Review:
Zoodles is a well-executed "Net Nanny" software program that gives each registered child a semi-personalized selection of games selected by Zoodles staff members that includes offerings from PBSKids, Nickelodeon, and American Girl. The Zoodles basic software is free; upgrade for $3.33 per month for ad-free browsing on all sites, parental monitoring of time spent online, reports on a child's achievements and a parents-play-too mode.

A lot of thought clearly went into this application, including a full screen browser and a muted color scheme for Zoodles that allows the colorful games to pop. The idea of leaving a child alone to play computer games may be a lot less frightening for some parents when the Zoodles safety gates are in place. Zoodles can be a big help when parents can't be there to act as Internet chaperones.
