Platform: iPhone/iPod Touch/Droid
Review:

Created by makers of the Thinkfun game of the same name, the Rush Hour app tracks the number of moves it takes a player to break free of a traffic jam and compares that number to the best possible score, i.e., the least number of moves required to escape the gridlock. There is a Quick Play option as well as three additional levels, from Easy to Expert. For those familiar with the board game, the iPhone app is immediately intuitive. For those who aren't, the refreshingly clear and simple three-screen tutorial is all you need to get started. There are Hint and Solve features within each game.

An easy game to understand, the different levels and challenges keep it fresh. Work alone and toward a personal best, or compete against others. The free version has 70 challenges; the full version with more than 2500 challenges is available for $2.99.
