Review:

What's in the Cat's Hat is a game in which a player puts something in a tall red and white hat ("Cat in the Hat") that closes with Velcro. Other players then have to guess what is in there. It comes with cards providing questions to ask about the object as well as action cards that tell you to "feel, smell, touch etc." the object. It does not come with objects, but rather uses ones from around the house. This is an entertaining game that fosters problem solving skills. Because objects from the house are used, children may not become bored quickly with this game as there will always be novel objects to use. Our testers had fun with this game and became very excited while playing. The product's only flaw was that the "look" component (where you look through a tiny hole covered with fabric) didn't work well. We couldn't really see anything through our peep hole.

Overall this is a fun game that fosters problem solving skills in young children. While it's not a "must have" it is a game that many children will enjoy.
