Review:

If you often find it hard to decide your next move in a game of chess, consider playing on a board with only one-fourth the number of squares to allow yourself to focus in on a single strategy. That's exactly what the game Solitaire Chess provides. Each of 60 challenge cards, in levels from beginner to expert, shows a set-up that might very well appear in a chess game. You arrange the requisite chess pieces on the card, then capture the pieces one by one. Every move must result in a captured piece. If you need help, check the hints telling which chess piece to move first, or the first piece to be captured, or the last piece on the board. Solving these challenges will teach you the basic rules of how to play chess, and deepen your strategic understanding of the game.
