Love Me for Who I Am
Spring 2011 MusicExuberant, big-hearted singer-songwriter-guitarist Brady Rymer has become one of the most appealing children's music artists working today. With a responsive rock 'n roll band and a sensitive ear for the joys and cares of children as they grow, Rymer takes inspiration here from his many years of concert performances for children with autism and similar disorders.
The songs that he has written based on their words and real-life challenges are easily relatable for all kids (and parents). "Picky Eater," "I Don't Like Change," "Squish Me Squeeze Me (make me feel great/Squish me, squeeze me/make me feel safe)," "Keep Your Wiggle Alive"-these witty, dynamic and thoughtful tunes could come from any kid's everyday universe. Rymer's lyrical list of "Soft Things"-"a baby's head with silky hair," a dandelion, cotton candy, a field of clover-ends with his own tender contribution: "a soft sweet song I'm singin'/a pure true melody ringin'/sweet and soft I'm singin' for you."
