Review:

What exactly do house pets do all day when their people are off to work and school? This entertaining and almost wordless picture book attempts to answer that age-old question. Each two-page spread shows the same downstairs scene, but clever readers will be able to spot the mischief the cast of characters engineer. As soon as they are left alone, dogs try on shoes, pigs pop out of storybooks, and someone is making a mess. What sets this book apart from other similar types of stories is the series of interactive questions at the end, designed to help children try to notice and remember small details. This is a silly and fun picture book for young children.
