Review:

In a city zoo, a walrus plots his escape. Much to the frustration of the zookeeper, Walrus is pretty good at blending in with his surroundings to evade capture. In a fountain, he becomes a mermaid sculpture, and at a construction site, he’s just one of the guys in hardhats. Stephen Savage uses only illustrations to tell the story, making it an enjoyable book for pre-readers, as well as young English language learners or non-English speakers. Children must find Walrus in his disguise on each page, but as the playful book is geared toward very young children he’s never too hard to spot.
