SWISH is a unique card game played with a deck of sixty sturdy, transparent cards with various colors and arrangements of balls and hoops (the term "swish" is a basketball reference). Sixteen cards are placed on a playing area and players try to mentally manipulate two or more cards so that each ball swishes into a hoop of the same color. Players call "SWISH!" when they think they have found a set. If they are correct, they keep the cards, but if they are wrong, the cards go back on the table and the player has to discard a card as a penalty. Players continue to match cards until all cards are used up or until no more swishes can be made. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Play is sometimes slow, but swish can become very fast paced, and it may be a disadvantage for one player to be the dealer. A separate dealer can quickly replace cards as they are taken out of play without distraction. Four game variations are provided in the fold out game instructions that support advanced play and leveling for mixed ability/age players. Even solitaire SWISH is a fun brain exercise.

Some notes on the cards: A white or light colored playing surface is necessary to clearly see all ball/hoop colors clearly. Static electricity can build up on the plastic cards with dry air and shuffling. So if you play on a rug, you might fight dog hair clinging to the cards. The game comes with a nice carrying bag, so it can be easily kept in a purse or backpack for quick games anywhere.
