Discovery Spaceship and Lift Off Rocket
Fall 2011 ToysThe space program is alive and well on Educo's solar powered launch pad. The weather is clear, the stage is set for lift-off and the countdown clock is holding at T-minus 10. Once settled into orbit, the working elevator lifts Discovery's astronauts from the living quarters to the exercise room, and moves them between the laboratory and communications central where instructions are received for the onboard experiments. Young mission control leaders have worked hard to prepare the astronauts for this mission that includes an EVA (extra-vehicular activity) to repair a broken shuttle bay door. The top of the spaceship serves as an independent pod to shuttle the astronauts to the space station or to the planet's surface to plant the flag and explore the terrain.
This imaginative set propels pretend-play scenarios that will take young explorers to infinity and beyond, and safely return the crew when Mom says it's time for dinner.
Child and eco-friendly, this playful set includes a four level space ship, two astronauts, a working robot, land vehicle, a flag, solar panels, and many accessories.
