I, Trixie, Who is Dog is an ode to author Dean Koontz's beloved Golden Retriever, a service dog he adopted from Canine Companions for Independence (cci.org). Anyone who has ever owned and adored a dog will understand the author's passion and admiration for dogs, especially his beloved Trixie. Animation and interactivity are minimal; tapping an object reveals its name on screen. Trixie's perspective drives the text; Janet Cleland's illustrations complement the simple, slightly quirky, and most appreciative celebration of a wonderful dog's life.
