Dinosaur Train Website

Dinosaur Train Website

Spring 2012 Website
Ages: 3 - 6 yrs.

The Dinosaur Train website, like other PBS Kids pages, is easy to navigate, loaded with education and entertaining content, and free and easily accessible. While other kids sites require parents to register, or even pay a monthly fee, PBS Dinosaur Train delivers fun, entertaining, and educational content to kids and parents without any restrictions or overcomplicated registration process.

The content is broad and extensive and will keep dinosaur lovers entertained for many sessions. From the games, including a comprehensive dinosaur field guide; to the videos, including full Dinosaur Train episodes, the website has an almost endless amount of content to explore.

The design and graphics are intuitive to use - large bold icons and clutter-free pages are easy to understand and navigate for both kids and parents. By keeping the pages simple yet colorful kids can quickly take charge of the mouse and find their way around the site. Games, including Buddy's Gem Hunt are a great way for kids to get comfortable using the mouse and keyboard.

I would highly recommend the site to anyone looking to introduce their child to beginning computer use or for a little dinosaur fanatic looking to learn more about the ancient creatures.
