Review:

The Little TikeStix Clubhouse will be a welcome addition to a home's collection of building toys. It includes fifty large, multi-colored building pieces that snap together via connector pieces. Kids love that they can make and create structures big enough and sturdy enough to be used as play forts for days.

The manufacturer states that this set offers "endless possibilities for parents and children to create and play together." With 3- and 4-year-olds, that means parents will do the majority of the creating and building. The pieces are hard for children on the lower end of the suggested age range to handle and snap together independently, and those children may not have the planning skills necessary for successful building yet. But the kit will have playroom staying power, because as children grow and develop, they will need less adult help to use it. Putting together structures takes a significant amount of time. Our testers said they would often leave a structure together for a few days before dissembling it. This can take up a lot of room indoors, but would be fine to leave outdoors during warm summer months.
