Review:

Perplexus is a three-dimensional maze game that challenges the player to route a tiny ball bearing through one of several complicated pathways that regularly require a re-think on which way should be "up". One wrong turn sends the ball flying off-course and out to the clear outer sphere of the toy. This was usually a can't-put-down kind of toy - once one went off-track one was determined to start again and get one step further until the route could be mastered. Players did periodically toss it aside in frustration, (which was fine, as the ball holds up well to abuse) only to return to it five minutes later with renewed enthusiasm. There was not a parent or child who did not find this game compelling and fun.
