Tales to Play - Clifford the Big Red Dog: Be a Good Friend GameFall 2012 Games
Clifford the Big Red Dog has been beloved by children for decades. He and his playmate Emily Elizabeth share adventures that teach children important life lessons about being part of a community, resolving differences, learning to share and being a good friend. This particular game involves collecting dog bones. Players take turns spinning Clifford on a turntable and following instructions determined by where Clifford's tail lands. The play testers (two 3-year-olds and one four-year-old) played two or three games at a time, usually twice a day. In the course of a week, their interest never wavered. Their favorite part of the game was being able to share the bones with each other. They also liked being able to count the bones as they got them, as well as again at the end of the game.
