Trifusion is a simple tile game for 2 to 4 players in which players take turns placing tiles adjacent to other played tiles, matching colors, and trying to achieve the largest continuous color area. Points are scored for every color and tile in the color chain. The game ends when all tiles are played. The player with the most points is the winner.

The best description of this game is that it is a cross between dominos and the dots and line game you played as a kid. Sometimes you only score a couple of points, but as the game builds, there are opportunities for higher scores. Good planning can maximize the points.

The first time we tried Trifusion, testers placed tiles properly, but chose not to score the game as they adjusted to the rules. The second game, during which score was kept, was much more interesting and really very fun for everyone. Games take less than 30 minutes, and testers were able to get quick games in before dinner or bedtime.

The durable game tiles (3" x 3") are heavy laminated cardboard. A sizable playing surface is necessary to accommodate the expanding play area and to be able to view the tiles not yet in play.
