National Geographic Little KidsSpring 2013 Magazines
As a child, I remember being fascinated by my father's National Geographic Magazine that arrived each month. But the small words and long spans of text made it feel inaccessible to me at that time. As a parent, I couldn't be happier to introduce my children to the world of National Geographic in the terrific, child-friendly versions of National Geographic Little Kids and National Geographic Kids.
In the Little Kids edition, children ages 3 to 6 get a fun and inviting introduction to animals through bright photographs and large-format text in a magazine sized just right for little hands. The articles present interesting information about a wide variety of creatures from around the world, written in a format that easy for early readers to digest. Kids can collect the tear-out Wild Cards in each issue that feature a unique animal or insect and a fun fact about them. And games and activities throughout the magazine focus on early-learning skills like letters, numbers, matching and observation using themes that center around animals and nature.
A subscription to Little Kids delivers six issues annually to your child's mailbox —something they are sure to look forward to!
