Review:

This large, fun, and fanciful puppet will capture the imaginations of all young learners. The open-and-shut mouth filled with realistic teeth and a curled tongue offers one choice for a hand/arm insertion, and the long flappy wings (plus two front "arms") provide optional openings for four fingers. Both hands of a small puppeteer could be inserted for use in all areas (although the pocket area would then be a bit crowded). The leathery-look skin and the red-eyed pupils can add an aura of faux-fear to the content of family, school, or community puppet shows. An attached story about a sky dragon may initiate storytelling adventures, but children will be excited just to have this creature in their midst whether or not a puppet show is part of the journey.
