Little scientists and budding artists will love using the Crayola Marker Maker to create custom colored markers. Using marker casings resembling test tubes and primary color ink, children can create a variety of unique colors for their markers. The set comes with two measuring tubes, a bottle of red, blue, and yellow ink, a color mixing guide, sticker labels so that children can name the color of each marker, 16 empty markers, and two marker boxes that will hold 8 markers each. Our testers loved experimenting with color and had just as much fun developing names for their new colors as they did making the actual marker.

The Crayola Marker Maker is a great way to introduce children to the art of blending primary colors to make other colors. It's also a safe and easy to do science project allowing kids to mix and blend specific quantities in test tubes. Children can hypothesize what color they think they are making and then test it out once they are done. In addition, the end product is something that children can use again and again. Using their unique colors, their art projects become even more meaningful.
