Review:

Squigz is a construction set made of silicone pieces that come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. They can be used individually or with each other to create unique, wobbly structures. Each piece has at least one suction cup on the end (the largest piece has four suction cups) which can stick and connect to nearly any flat surface. Lots of fun can be had sticking these pieces around the house (on a window, a wall, a table top, etc,) and joining them together in a variety of configurations. As easy as they are to stick together, they are also relatively easy to pull apart. Kids loved the loud popping sound that they make when they "unstick" from a strong suction contact.

In the few weeks our testers had this starter set, it was played with several times daily. Though the novelty of building with Squigz wore off, kids still loved the fun popping noise of pulling the pieces apart. Another enjoyed sticking Squigz to various household surfaces and then tracking how long it took the Squigz to fall off of each surface. Since the pieces have open-ended uses, parents considered Squigz a fun addition to their collection of creative play toys. Their only caveat in recommending Squigz is that the pieces cost nearly $1 each ($25/24 piece set, $50/50 piece set), making it a relatively expensive toy.
