Set Pro HD is a an engaging brain game. Like solitaire or concentration, it is both mentally stimulating and relaxing. It's also extremely challenging. Based on a physical card game by the same name, the objective is to identify "sets" in a virtual deck of cards. A set is three cards that either have one thing in common, or have nothing in common. (This makes sense when you see the cards, and the tutorial is very clear.)

There are intermediate and advanced levels and six different ways to play the app individually. There is also a multi-player feature, which turns your iPad's screen into a game board.

Users can play for speed—i.e., identify the most sets in a period of time—or just complete a challenge. Identifying the sets correctly and improving speed is rewarding, which makes it an ideal app for repeat play. The app also tracks a player's statistics, which can be shared, letting players compete against their own personal records, or against others'. The app itself is easy to navigate and has helpful features like "Hint" for beginners, and "Practice Mode" so you don't hurt your statistics while you learn.
