Review:
Here’s a new wrinkle—26 virtual grannies, one for each letter of the alphabet, each with her own lettered lesson to teach youngsters. The 3D animation dazzles even computer-callused kids. But the games and hotspots are a mix of fun and frivolous. Nothing’s very taxing; some activities are disappointingly shallow, such as Grandma Annie’s Art Studio and Grandma Betty’s Bakery. But it’s all relative here.
