Dodge Dice is a fast and fun game of chance for two to six players. The game consists of an action die, a penalty die (color-coded with points), eight colored dice, and a number of "skip chips" that allow players to skip turns. Players take turns rolling the dice until all colored dice match the penalty die or until the action die indicates "Stop." The action die may indicate that the player must accept double or triple points, may take a skip chip, or may give points to another player. Players try to avoid scoring points; the one with the lowest score when another player hits 100 points is the winner.

It's complicated to describe, but it only takes about two or three rolls before everyone catches on. After that, game play moves swiftly—until a player finds him or herself just a few points from losing and has to decide: use up one chip on the possibility of a bad roll, or risk needing to use up two when the bad roll has already happened? Oh, the pressure! Testers found themselves calculating the odds of the worst-case rolls (and learning that even when the odds seemed to be in their favor, the dice could still go against them). Games go by so quickly that they spill from one round right into the next; our testers could hardly put the game down. Dodge Dice is an enjoyable game for kids or families whether they have only few minutes to spare or are looking for a whole afternoon of quality time together.
