Review:

The new G-Bike Micro Balance Bike by Micro Kickboard is a stylish balance bike made for the child just learning how to ride. This beginner bike provides an easy way to learn how to balance on a two-wheeler and gain confidence in her new independence.

The bike is easy to assemble and has some room to adjust as the child grows, (the seat can go from 13 to 15 inches and the handle bars from 20 inches to 21). The light weight and compact bike make it easy for toddlers to control, whether with their feet on the ground, or lifted up so they can glide. The scooter wheels are a great feature. They are non-marking, (especially good for those that sneak a bike ride through the living room) and make it easy for a new rider to glide right over most minor sidewalk/ cracks or uneven pavement. The only downside is that the bike is marketed to 2-5 year olds and might be a bit small for the older end of its recommended age range.

Although at $130 the G-Bike is a bit more expensive than most other balance bikes on the market, the quality is in the construction and durability making it worth the price.? Another bonus? Using the bike has inspired our testers to wear their helmets and talk about bike safety.
